There’s something about drawing abstract shapes and taking inspiration from nature that truly makes art special. I’m proud of my Indian culture and I’ve always been fascinated about henna. The patterns are so intricate and mesmerizing, and I take inspiration from not only my cultures but also my need for abstraction to calm my anxious heart.
We created this together on stream for about an hour. What started as simple shapes quickly turned into a masterpiece. I have an extreme love for visuals, it soothes my soul and is so satisfying to look at. I’m trying share my personal joy of watching things be created, colored, lined, through live streams to help others who enjoy it as well and are also anxious. I watch these type of videos all the time, and I think there’s something beautiful of seeing something actively be created. The wonders hobbies like this can do for anxiety are remarkable. The act of slowing down and focusing on a simple drawing at hand force your brain to relax.
Hopefully we can share more content like this! I personally hate drawing – I don’t often have the patience for it, however I do enjoy abstraction and making compositions.
I’m proud of how this turned out, and look forward to our next creation together! Have a great day punderful!
