Behold my attempts at simple ‘calligraphy’ (not my strongest skill, but I’m working on it). I have a confession: I. Love. Notebooks. So much in fact that we have a love-hate relationship (just like my sketchbooks). Whenever I get a new notebook, there’s a small internal pressure that follows to fill this notebook with worthy content. Usually, the prettier the notebook the more I want to fill it with greatness. Often times, the pressure gets to me so much I never even fill them! Or I start filling them, but leave them practically empty – ridiculous right? Well have no fear! For I am sharing with you one of my favorite notebooks – my bucket list notebook.
I actually designed this many years ago and adamantly filled it with my hopes and dreams, some that I’ve even accomplished! I basically wrote down my goals numerically, each with a description and a mini check box. It’s similar to creating a vision board, but a written version of it. I feel more empowered when I explain to myself why I want to accomplish something. It really reminds me to work harder. Adding this calligraphic design in the cover with simple cliche quotes help inspire me even more.
There you have it! Do you struggle with empty notebooks too? If you make a bucket list notebook I’d love to see it! Hope this inspires you to end the era of empty notebooks. 🙂
